Shadow Divers: The True Adventure of Two Americans Who Risked Everything to Solve One of the Last Mysteries of World War II
I just finished a great book that I highly recommend. It details the discovery of a sunken U-Boat from WWII off the coast of New Jersey in the 90’s! There is a lot of mystery and intrigue about this boat. The divers searched far and wide to learn the history of its war record and were committed to getting to the bottom (no pun intended)of how it ended up there.
The author captures their story very well and if you are looking for a fast paced, easy to read historical nonfiction book—I give this 2 thumbs up!
